Originally, I asked my grandmother for her tiramisu recipe (which she sent) but my mother said that it was the wrong recipe and sent a voice note with the “correct” measurements. Here it is:


  • 3 Eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 250g  mascarpone
  • 500 ml cream
  • 1/4 cup espresso
  • Lady finger biscuits
  • cocoa powder


  • Mix egg yolks and sugar together
  • In a different bowl whip the cream and fold in the mascarpone
  • Incorporate the two mixtures together
  • Whip the whites until peaks form and then fold in to the mixture
  • Dip the lady fingers in the espresso
  • Layer the biscuits and the cream mixture
  • Sprinkle the cocoa powder on top
